Step 1: Reaching Out
Making the decision to start therapy is often the hardest part. You send a message, and we take it from there. There are no right or wrong things to say in your initial email; Just a brief note about what you are currently navigating is the perfect place to start.

Clinical Psychology (The Map)
The reliable roadmap to understanding your mind.

Psychiatric Frameworks
I am rigorously trained across the spectrum of psychiatric disorders (according to the DSM-V). This means I have a deep, scientific understanding of mood disorders, neurocognitive conditions, and trauma. However, I don't treat labels—I treat people. The clinical background provides us with a safe, reliable roadmap, but it never obscures the unique, complex territory of who you are.
Psychodynamic Therapy (The Core)
Practical interventions for present-day relief.
Depth Exploration
Relational Patterns
Unconscious Defensesesign
Attachment Styles
Inner Child Work
This is my home base. Instead of just managing your symptoms, we look at your internal world. Psychodynamic therapy assumes that the ways we struggle today, our relationship patterns, our anxieties, our protective walls were once brilliant adaptations to difficult environments. We explore these inner blueprints with deep curiosity rather than judgment, making sense of why you feel the way you do, so you can finally stop fighting yourself.
Couples Therapy: Gottman Meets Depth
Bridging the gap between two internal worlds.
The Gottman Method
Conflict De-escalation
Communication Repair
Emotional Gridlock
Relational Dynamics
Relationships are wonderfully complicated. To support them, I blend the highly practical tools of the Gottman Method with psychodynamic depth. First, we use Gottman tools to stop the immediate bleeding, teaching you how to de-escalate, communicate clearly, and repair conflict. Then, we use psychodynamic exploration to understand why certain buttons are being pushed, resolving the deeper emotional gridlock underneath.
The Integrated Toolkit (CBT, ACT, Schema, Humanistic & DBT)
Practical interventions for present-day relief.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Acceptance & Commitment (ACT)
DBT Interventions
Schema Therapy
Humanistic Growth
While our core work is deeply exploratory, sometimes you need immediate relief. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I weave in pragmatic interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This gives you active, practical tools to manage distress and challenge unhelpful thoughts in your daily life while we continue the deeper humanistic work of personal growth.

Healing in Connection
We don't heal in isolation. Our relationship acts as a safe laboratory to practice healthier ways of connecting.

Honoring Your Defenses
Your coping mechanisms once saved you. We won't strip them away, but gently cultivate softer ways to protect yourself.

FAQs
How frequently do you recommend we see each other?
For psychodynamic work to be truly effective and for us to build a strong, trusting alliance, I recommend meeting once a week. This maintains the momentum of our insights while giving you enough time between sessions to observe how our work is rippling into your daily life. Of course, as we go on after our initial sessions and get to lay a good foundation, we can space things out; The same thing for vacations or a decided break.
